Beaufort County Community College is hosting its first Careers in Uniform Job Fair today on the BCCC campus.

The event runs from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the multipurpose room of Building 10. It includes an interactive helicopter simulator provided by the Army.

Representatives from Washington Police Department, Washington Fire –Rescue-EMS Department, City of Greenville, Army, Army National Guard, U.S. Marine Corps, N.C. State Highway Patrol, Durham Police Department and Beaufort County JobLink will have representatives on hand to discuss potential career paths within their various organizations.

Representatives from several BCCC departments — continuing education, criminal justice, basic law-enforcement training, admissions and industrial technology — will offer information on training for those careers.

There is no fee to attend.
