Mrs. Lydia Darphine Reddick Davis, 54, of 1019 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, at Beaufort County Medical Center in Washington.
A memorial service was held Jan. 12, 2009, in the chapel of Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington, with pastor Bernard Cox officiating.
Mrs. Davis was born in Beaufort County on March 20, 1954. She was the daughter of the late Syble Mae Spencer Reddick and William David Reddick. She attended the Beaufort County Schools. She was married to Kalvin A. Davis. She had been employed in the health care field as a nurse’s assistant.
Survivors include one daughter, Alicia M. Cox of Greenville; one son, Shawne J. Reddick of Leavenworth, Wash.; two sisters, Claudine Boone and Linda R. Reddick, both of Virginia; one brother, James C. Reddick of Virginia; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Dornisha A. Davis; three brothers and one sister.
