Men face multiple charges

On July 6, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a breaking and entering of a residence on Rowe Road in Aurora. The homeowner discovered a damaged door and a safe missing from the residence.
As a result of information obtained during an investigation, Investigator Robert Gaskins obtained warrants charging William Jerry Warren III, 23, of N.C. Highway 306, Grantsboro, and William Jason Evans Jr., 21, of Blake Drive, Grantsboro, each with one count of felony breaking and entering, one count of larceny after breaking and entering and one count of safecracking.
Warren and Evans were served the warrants Oct. 12. Each was held under a $25,000 secured bond. Warren was confined in the Craven County Detention Center on unrelated charges. Evans was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center.
