Mrs. Evelyn Robbins McNair, 68, of 105 Bradley Road, Plymouth, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at Washington County Hospital in Plymouth.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Long Ridge Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. General James officiating. Burial will follow in the McNair family cemetery.
Mrs. McNair was born in Washington County on April 29, 1940. She was the daughter of the late King and Ida Onella Cherry Robbins. She was married to Charles Edison McNair, who preceded her in death. She had been employed as a community social services assistant with Washington County Department of Social Services. She was a member of Long Ridge Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Corey McNair of Plymouth and one daughter, Vernessa McNair of Houston, Texas.
The family will receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. at Toodle’s Funeral Home, Plymouth, and other times at the home.
