Mrs. Myrtle Mae Hamilton Larkin, age 75, a resident of 102 N. Main St., Bath, died Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Beaufort County Medical Center.
Private graveside services will be held at Pamlico Memorial Gardens at a later date.
Mrs. Larkin was born in Beaufort Co. on June 10, 1933 to the late Heber and Martha Meekins Hamilton. She was employed by Britthaven of Washington where she retired in 1995 and was a member of Hunter’s Bridge Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Tilman R. Peed, III and wife Lynn of Wake Forest; one daughter, Teresa Jean Bruhn and husband Robert C. of Winnetka, CA; two sisters, Etta Jean Sawyer of Norfolk, VA, Mary Lucille Frazer of Santa Anna, CA, five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
