Mrs. Mary Louise Cobb, 85, a resident of 131 Keyesville Road, Washington, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, at Ridgewood Manor.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Spring Garden Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. E.R. McNair officiating. Burial will follow in Cox Cemetery.
Mrs. Cobb was born Sept. 2, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Molly Bernard Smith. She was a member of Spring Garden Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Mother of Mercy Catholic School. She married William Cobb Sr., who preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Terry Cobb of Kinston; two sisters, Mary Kenlaw of Washington and Alberta Brooks of Chocowinity; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at Leon Randolph Memorial Chapel.
