Doris Caroline Brooks Langley

Mrs. Doris Caroline Brooks Langley, a resident of 211 S. Main St., Bath, died peacefully at her home Monday, Oct. 24, 2011. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Langley was born in Bath to the late Marion Elmo Brooks and Rae Cutler Brooks. She married Robert Macon Langley who preceded her in death on July 7, 1988. She was a graduate of Bath High School, attended King’s Business College in Raleigh and was a member of Bath Christian Church. Mrs. Langley was retired after spending her career working with the Bank of Washington and the N.C. Internal Revenue Service.
Survivors include one sister, Virginia B. Carson of Bath; a niece, Celestia Carson of Bath; a nephew, Bubs Carson and wife Pam of Bath; two great-nieces, Melissa Clinkscales and husband Mark of Bath, Stephanie Bibee and husband Greg of Raleigh; and two great-great-nephews, Carson and Reed Clinkscales.
