Louise Tyer Moore

Mrs. Louise Tyer Moore, age 85, a former resident of Beaufort County, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, at Chowan River Health & Rehabilitation Center of Edenton.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Pamlico Memorial Gardens officiated by Ola Forbes Jr. Larry Moore, Danny Moore, Lee Bryant, Ryan Hall, Michael Cartwright and Shane Schmidt will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Moore was born in Pitt County on March 24, 1926, to the late Jesse Benjamin Tyer and Emily Ross Tyer. Mrs. Moore worked for 20 years as a waitress at the Holiday Inn of Washington and Elizabeth City.
Mrs. Moore is survived by two sons: Larry Moore of Pinetown, and Danny Moore of Chocowinity; two daughters, Hilda Bundy of Creswell, and Deborah Moore of Jacksonville; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Moore had five brothers and five sisters.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Saturday at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
