Mrs. Beulah Priscilla Randall Peele, 97, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, at Rex Healthcare in Raleigh.
A funeral will be conducted today at 1 p.m. in Cornerstone Family Worship Center, Washington, with Elder Donald Peartree officiating. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Peele was born in Beaufort County on Jan. 30, 1912. She was the daughter of the late Shopia Latham and Watt Randall. She attended the Beaufort County Schools. On Jan. 13, 1931, she married Willie Peele Sr., who preceded her in death. She was a farmer. She was a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ), Bath, where she served on the Mother board.
Survivors include three daughters, Eula Mae Moore of Washington, Hilda Windley of Pinetown and Rosa L. Windley of Raleigh; one foster daughter, Joyce Satchel of Washington; one son, Willie Peele Jr. of Pinetown; one foster son, Cleon Latham of Pantego; 30 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, James Herman Peele; two brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Eula Moore, 332 E. 13th St., Washington.
Arrangements are by Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
