BCCC’s Business and Industry Services will offer a seminar on recordkeeping and taxes for small businesses from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Nov. 7, in Room 830 of Building 8 on the BCCC campus.

The seminar includes instruction on understanding financial statements, dealing with financial institutions, filing federal and state financial reports and tax reports and when and how to use accountants. The instructor for the course is Keith Kidwell, an accountant and tax professional with the local H&R Block.

The workshop is free, but to ensure seating and allow for the preparation of materials, participants are asked to contact Eva Peartree at 940-6375 or by email at evap@beaufortccc.edu to register. The seminar is co-sponsored by the Washington-Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce.
