Richard Glenn Tingle, 67, of Havelock died Thursday, February 26, 2009 at his home. Richard was a home inspector (retired) and a member of the Newport Moose Lodge # 2194. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Richard Thomas and Pearl Midgette Tingle, brothers, Winfield Tingle and Talmage Tingle, and sister, Peggy Tingle Norsdrom. He is survived by his fianc/e, Loretta Brown of Havelock, three daughters, Kimberly F. Wallace of Cary, NC, Robin G. Henkel of Newport News, VA. and Jennifer A. Morin of Herndon, VA; brother, Loren Tingle of Lewisville, NC, sisters, Ann Tingle Tetterton of Washington, NC and Emma Tingle Paul of Garden City, SC; seven grandchildren and a special friend, Betty Weatherholtz of Havelock.
A memorial service will be held at the Newport Moose Lodge # 2194, 456 Roberts Rd. on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Moose Lodge.
