Ms. Rosetta Bailey of 801 N. Respess St., Washington, died Monday, March 2, 2009, at Britthaven.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Leon Randolph Funeral Home, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington, with the Rev. Guy Harding Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Ms. Bailey was born July 17, 1927, the daughter of the late Sylvester and Mable Simmons Bailey. She attended Beaufort County Schools. She attended St. Luke Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) Church.
Survivors include one son, Johnnie Roundtree; three sisters, Hazel Ba-son of Washington, Lillie Drake of Mt Vernon, N.Y., and Ruth Duncan of Bronx, N.Y.; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, George Bailey; one sister, Catherine Howard; and two brothers, Sylvester Bailey Jr. and William H. Bailey.
The family will receive friends today from 2-6 p.m. at Leon Randolph Funeral Home, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington, and other times at the home.
