Mrs. Veronia Latham Perry Robertson, 88, of Williamston Rehabilitation Center, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Church of Williamston with the Rev. Tom Goebel and the Rev. Dr. Danny Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Robertson was born in Martin County on May 10, 1918. She was the daughter of the late Simon and Mary Jones Perry. She was a homemaker. She was married to Joseph A. Robertson Jr., who preceded her in death. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Betsy R. Norwood of Williamston and Barbara R. Zehmer of Richmond, Va.; two sons, Frank Robertson of Farm Life and Carl Robertson of Richmond, Va.; one sister, Janie Stanley of Crofton, Md.; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Daniel Robertson; and one sister, Martha Elizabeth Robertson.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Walker Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Betsy Norwood, 109 N. Biggs St., Williamston.
